2 issues:scores multiply themselves, & lower-is-better scores rank high to low
hey guys,
Our members have noticed two issues with the ib arcade system. One bug seems to be that once in a while, a submitted score will become approximately 10x what it actually should be. so a score of 1456 will be submitted as a score of around 14,000 points. Also, games in which the goal is to get a low score, do not rank that way in the hgihscores area. Thus people who should be winners show up dead last. Any thoughts on these problems? I'm sure I could figure out workarounds but I'm weary to go mucking through the code myself as I dont want to risk breaking the system or having undesired effects in the future due to my modifications. I dont know the system well enough to do that safely :D Also, if anyone has seen these issues before, or if they have been discussed somewhere else, could you link me to the information? Thanks edit: Found the solution to the low-score-is-best problem....duh..sorry for not searching harder :/ Still not sure about the other issue with multiplying scores though |
there is a setting in the admin cp to set the games to high/low score wins got to the individual game thats doing this

thanks for the reply, I have found that setting as mentioned above. Still no luck with the other issue though.
