Need a bit of advice.
 

I am hosting 2 boards on the one server, I am unsure of the specs ect.


One board;

Threads: 7,932, Posts: 66,627, Members: 1,440

Average, 200 users per day, and NEEDS to be able to cope with 300 online at once. And about 1000 posts being made per day.


The other board (just new)

Threads: 434, Posts: 3,988, Members: 184

Needs to be able to cope with 100 users online, and 1000 posts per day.



Whats my best option on hosting these 2 boards? Who do you recommend ect?

I would like them on the same package, so reseller would be ideal.

Also, whats my options on dedicated servers? And whats the lowest you could get one for?

can u tell me desired HDD Space & Band width Consumption/month ?

Hi, I think I would need about 30/40 GIG of bandwidth per month. - Not sure about space tbh.

I just need to know, what I really need to host the above boards.


I dont know alot about this, and its getting to the stage its a nightmare. I dont want to take any risks, but feel I might need too.

Get a dedicated server if you're going to handle around ~400 online at the same time.
