Looking for a username management add-on for vB 3.6.x
 

Hello,
I'm looking for an add-on that allows my users to change their username. I've been asked to change username from my users so many times, that I prefer to give them access to change their own, instead of I having to do it.

I would also like that this username management follow the rules I'd set in the AdminCP on illegal usernames and regular expressions on allowed characters for usernames.

I looked thru the forum, and all I could find was this add-on called Username Management, but it was for vB 3.5.x

Any suggestion is welcome...

The Hack you found is working also for 3.6.x

I am using it since 3.6.1 (3.6.2, 3.6.3 and 3.6.4 now)

Well I am not the author of the hack.
What about closing your board, installing it and give it a try? :-)

Install it, test it!
If it does what you want keep it, otherwise uninstall it again.
Takes 10 minutes to find out!
