How can I call rssposter.php from outside vbulletin?
 

I'm working on integrating vbulletin as the comment system for my movable type blog. My idea was to use the rss publisher to create a thread everytime a blogger posted. On the Movable Type side, the template attempts to discover the thread url when an article is viewed from Vbulletin's RSS.

The problem is rssposter can only be set to go once every minute from cron, I'd rather just implement a call in the movable type publishing process.

Can rssposter.php be called from outside vbulletin? I've tried the direct url, it doesn't work. Any ideas?

Also, once it discovers the url from the RSS, is there a way with external data provider to look at posts in that thread? What would be the syntax?
