How to export threads/Posts to another forum

Hi folks,
Just wanna know how can one transfer all forum sections(categories and child forums) with all their threads from one vbulletin instance to another?

I'm wondering if I can simply export/import certain tables from the original database(using phpMyAdmin) to the destination databse.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
