Thread Cosmetics V1.0
Thread Cosmetics V1.0
Inspired by own my idea months ago: You Must Have Vbplaza installed else this hack WILL NOT WORK It uses the tables/columns from this hack. Description: Thread Cosmetics is what it says. The ability to colorize, bold, italics, underline your thread, but from within the thread manage rather than using vbplaza and points! Vbplaza / Why?: Well, why not? If the hack is already there with the correct tables/columns why not take advantage of it? Besides, it was the only way I knew how to code the hack. So MAKE sure you have Vbplaza, else major errors! :) Inspiration / Why?: I guess I've always wanted to be able to colorize, bold, etc my thread, and its like 4-5 extra steps to do it through vbplaza. Why not have it along with the thread tools? This is why I struggled to create this hack. Support: There will be limited support for this hack. I will try my best, but I'm still waay to new to coding and if its beyond me, I might not be able to help. I have tested this hack on 3.6.1, works great. However: Use At Your Own risk Please click INSTALL |
First post. ^_^
Does this hack still charge users vBux? If not, that would be an excellent improvement: this is much more streamlined than vB Plaza's shop menu. |
no, its actually only for administrators. It doesnt use any points, just allows admins to colorize a thread, bold, etc easier. Its integrated with the admin thread manage...thats all.
Of course I'm sure it could possible be adopted to regular users.. |
Doesn't work with 3.6.3 in firefox 2 and the options seem to be there in IE but no changes are made to the thread !?
|
Yes, I think as of now, this hack only works in I.E even with my testing. Not sure about the changes being made to the thread. You have vbplaza installed right? I might need to test on 3.6.3

Hello
This problem hack Unknown column 'vbp_titletextcolor' in 'field list' Error Number : 1054 Date : Sunday, November 19th 2006 @ 12:46:30 AM |
Thanks!

The only thing I can say about those of you who are getting SQL errors involving "vbp_titletextcolor" either A.) You dont have vbplaza installed. or B.) It's named something else in your database for whatever reason.
I suggest you use phpmyadmin, click over to the thread table and find out what column name its using... |
