Can I 'nest' someone elses phpBB forum within my Vbulletin forum frame?

See.. there is an EXISTING forum, that would work perfectly with my forum's crowd.....

But it is a phpBB forum....

Is there a simple way to port it over to Vb software? (there are a LOT of image files so the attachment database is large)

I think the folks running it - wont WANT me to convert it, the would just want me to nest it - untouched - within my forums frame.. (Because if it didn't work out - we could call the whole thing off ad they could leave without their forum in a database mess)

But how do we link searches between the forums? Could someone write a clever script for that?

How do I 'squeeze' their phpBB forum frame into mine dimension-wise ?

The trade would be good.

They would get more customers for the service / consultancy based forum (they charge with paypal for intensive one to one advice)

My forum would benefit with more traffic, more people seeing our (one) banner rotation zone at the top of the page and our members will learn from this expert forum.

Anyone ever done such a thing?

Could / would the site be located at two places at once? (as in mirrored versions / or the same actual forum)

1) at its regular, existing URL location
2) nested within my forums frame http://.www.myforum/theirforum/

or is that a dumb suggestion?

The key points again:

They keep their forum business and host it themselves
Their forum visible within my forums frame so my forums members can enjoy the additional forum and I get to display more baner ads

Many thanks in advance, all thoughts & suggestions appreciated!

You can put it as iframe somewhere in forumhome template. Find this: <!-- /main -->
and put after it: <br /><iframe src="url_to_phpbb" width="100%" height="500"></iframe>
