Internal Server Errors! AAAAHHHH
 

My host tells me I am running too many php processes. They say the limit is 3 and to be executed in 30 seconds. Is there a way I can keep my current setup and meet these requirments?

There are a lot of threads at vb.com that can explain how to lessen the performance load on your box. (I'm just about to head to the pub, but I'll link some tomorrow if you don't find any).

One thing to do is

ACP -> VB Options -> Show all options

And just search on the word "performance", and see what you can disable. Things like showing users browsing threads and users viewing forums will add a bit.

That is a really low cap though, and as Ntfu2 said, you can upgrade to a better host on the very cheap that should give you more overhead than that. I ran sevenstring.org on ipowerweb's $20/mo plan up to about 50k posts before moving it to the VPS's that it's on now.
