Random image on vBadvanced
 

Hi,

I'm looking to see if someone would be kind enough (if it's possible) to code a hack for my site.

I currently use vBadvanced as my portal and post RSS news to it daily.

I have 1 problem. I like my news to be tidy and have an image beside it.

The RSS feed I use doesn't include images in it and I have to manually edit each post and attach a related image.

I would like to have a mod which chooses a random image from a specified directory and attachs it to any thread posted in my "news" forum (the one I use for my frontpage news)

Can it be done?

Anyone got ideas or pointers on how I would go about this?

My frontpage (vbadvanced) is updated daily by threads posted automatically by RSS feeds.

These automatic posts don't contain images. I have to manually add images to each post. (You can see an example at www.niinterests.com)

I like to do this to keep my front page looking nice.

However I don't always have time to attach images to each post.

I would like to have a mod that would automatically add a random image (from a specific directory on my server) to each thread that has been posted by RSS.

Is it possible? Would it be hard to do?
