cant save file as PNG from Jpeg
 

i need to save an image as png but it wont let me, why wont it let me save the file as that?

What won't let you? Maybe link the image, if it's clean, and see if someone would be kind enough to convert it for you. :)

i am using adobe photoshop CS2. its was a eps file, originally. since i couldnt save it as png, i saved it as a jpg hoping that it would then allow me to save it as a png but no luck. i dont understand why it wont let me save it as a png.

Just a guess, but try copy-pasting it as a new image, and then try to save it.
