After 8 months of PHPBB, I switched over to vBulletin (I couldn't be happier with VB). I'm still getting my feet wet, and for everything I know about hardware, my site is my first attempt at building a site (which I've done from the ground up by myself).

I'd really like to add some side panels to the forums with hyperlinks to the different article types (reviews, guides, recommendations, shopping), but I'm not sure which to use.
Anyway, let me know what you think, and let me have some suggestions for adding some more functionality to the forums
