Mini Moderators
 

Hi All

Well basically I want to add a mini-moderator usergroup that will only have the powers to close/open, move, and edit regular user's posts and threads.

I don't want them to have access to a MOD control panel (because I don't want them to have the power to ban or edit users preferences)

Any ideas?

BTW We are running 3.6 and have 100k members and do need this extra user group

Why can't you just create a new usergroup and set those settings? You get to choose what the mods have the ability to do. You can make that group, not have them listed as moderators, and they wont see the link for the mod panel. Firthermore, bans are controllable already. You determine who can and can't ban users.
