vBulletin Questions from a PHPBB Lover
 
Don't crucify me just yet. :laugh:

I run a PHPBB message board, and I love it. I love the freedom I have especially. And frankly, I prefer the feel it over both IPB and vBulletin.

The reason I am considering switching to vBulletin is security, yet I have just learned that it is far from easy to get a skin coded, from a mock-up design, in vBulletin as opposed to other forum software. How accurate is this? I would be paying for the design to be coded into a template, and realize that having it done for PHPBB would cost me a lot more, if it is as extensive as I have been told, and I wouldn't be able to do that.

That is an example of a pretty customized PHPBB message board, and I would be getting something just as customized. Would that be too difficult to do on vBulletin, as in completely change the look and feel of it? Please be honest.
