Disable sendmessage.php For Specified Usergroups
I threw this plugin together for someone who requested it. It defaults to blocking the use of sendmessage.php by Unregistered Users, Users Awaiting E-mail Confirmation, Users Awaiting Moderation, and Banned users. But you can change it to block any usergroups you like. Just edit the list of ID numbers in the IF statement.

Nice one :)...
*first to click install ;) |
Note: In most cases you don't want to block this from use, since it's helpful for unregistered members to be able to contact you if they are having a problem registering. I'm not really sure why the person requested this, but it's definately not something many people should use. :)
You may want to use it to block your Banned usergroup(s), which might be a good idea. |
We have some Users Awaiting Email Notification using the report post function as though it is a PM function and thus sending erronous reports to the report forum.
Anyway of including the report.php in this hack? |
Thank you! I have a member that I banned that keeps coming in under fake proxies. Once she gets registers and is automatically moved to the email conf. user group, she starts sending nasty message after nasty message using the contact us.
