Promotion Strategies...
 

Ive set up a couple of new usergroups on a forum. I'm now trying to set up promotions. Currently the only promotion strategies are by post count, join date and reputation.

However I need a strategy that will promote the user based on a performance, much like a vB skin designer is promoted here based on the # of skins released.

How do I add promotion strategy? Or is there a hack for this?

There is no way to add promotion 'stratagies' other than writing your own code.

The stock cron job does not even have any hooks in it.

How do they promote designers and coders here Paul, do you know? Is it done manually?

It's done as part of the code when you click install/uninstall.
