Suggestion, unlicensed members
 

Hey,

I have a suggestion. :)
Well, i have had a license in the past, but it has now expired.
Now, it's so annoying, i don't have the money to renew it, and, i can't reply to my modification threads.

Could you please make it so, unlicensed members can reply in modification threads, as long as they have made them? :)

Would be great if you considered this. :)

Or failing that, a message that appears if the thread-starter is no longer licensed and can't reply to the thread so nobody waits...and waits...

Yeah. I'll have to agree that some form of communication to your modification viewers is important. Whether it be allowing the creator to still continue providing support, or announcing to the community via the first post that they're unable to help would really be helpful. My license expired several months back, and it was two weeks before I could renew it again. I had like fifty posts in my thread when I got back with people asking me what was going on. =\ I'm definitely in favor.

Although this sounds like a valid and simple request, there is a bit more to it then you would think at first sight.

We will discuss it and see if we can come up with a workable solution.

I'm all in favor. Since I've never owned a license, but I've been attached to license that I've been a long term admin and coded stuff for so I could release it, but once they stopped buying it, I couldn't do anything with mine. I'm all in favor.
