Suggestion: Premium Modifications Forum for: WebTemplates Hack

I was just wondering if it's possible to have a Premium Modifications forum for the WebTemplates hack please: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=103076

I am suggesting for a number of reasons:

1) It is an extremely versatile hack, not only being ideal for the beginner who wants to add extra non-forum pages but great for people who want to create pages with custom queries... without having to write a new script from scratch! Because of this wide scope the number of questions that can be asked is vast.

2) Many questions are now getting repeated in the thread, so a separate forum will make it easier for people to search previously asked questions - the thread already has over 500 replies in it's latest release (more than in a lot of the prem mods entire sections)

3) It will be fairer on Logican, as it will also make it easier for those of us using the hack to help answer questions to ease the burden.

4) It will make it easier to share hacks/custom WebQuerys as a new thread is simply needed.

5) It will make it easier to support custom WebQuerys as they in themselves can sometimes be seen as a 'hack'.

6) It will make it easier for people to see just how powerful this hack is, it really is a hidden gem ;)

7) Hopefully this will result in the hack being used more widely, meaning it is more likely for it to be updated for future versions of vBulletin.

There are lots of other reasons, such as being able to have guides, FAQs etc stickied in the section, it's a great hack and I hope it get's a dedicated section..

Thanks for reading.

I couldn't agree more!!! It's one of the most powerful hacks on the ORG. Thanks again Logician!

The request would have to come from the Author, but we are not opening any new premium forums at the moment.

Why? The reasoning which the thread starter has provided is quite strong & logical. It's logical in the sense that opening such a forum would benefit both vBulletin customers & the overall product itself.

It's very true that Logician's WebTemplates is a hidden treasure on these forum, so why not help discovering it?
