Did you guys do any research to determine if the subject you were getting into was too busy or did you throw caution to the wind and just go for it?

just go for it... but u must really love what u're doing.

Go for it, but be prepared to put an awful lot of work into your site to get members, which will require lots of free time on your part.

My idea was something that I had not seen before. Yes, the Hack was on here and many people downloaded it but I hadn't seen it used exclusively.

I found a site that I thought had some potential since everyone is kinda nerdy in their own way. I didn't build it, I purchased it because it had a great user base off which to build. Is the market I'm in too overcroweded? I'm not sure. I never checked. I just did it and Ill see what happens.

I say go for it .. took me 3 years to get my site where it is now. First year or so was real slow going but I never gave it up.
