I own a poetry site. and my members often post threads that are three and four pages long (short stories).. i have been looking for a hack that could count the characters or words ( i selected) and then when that limit has been been passed, automatically generate a new page within the the thread and a numbered nav so a member could read the thread in a more organized manner...

i cut a numbered nav to show an example...
