How do I create a sub forum
 

Yeah I'm a little new to vBulletin and wanted to know how to make a subforum [not child forum] A subforum as in, you click the forum and it brings you to a new set of forums.

i don't really understand your request, a sub forum is a child forum, do you mean a link to somewhere else ?

Well what I mean is eg; on the forum mainpage you say you have a forum called

Graphics

Under the main forum (on the main page) it says
subforums: Avatars Wallpapers
etc; any ideas?

i believe you go to

admincp>forums & moderaters>add new forum>then there will be a dropdown menu that says "parent forum" and choose which catagory you want it to be under

to make a catagory you have to choose the option under posting options Act as Forum (Will act as category if no) and choose no and now you have a catagory that you can put sub forums under

Slash is right...when you're creating a forum you'll see a drop down for 'parent forum' you can select where you'd like your new forum to fall under as a child board.

I do have subforums but they are not shown as such
