Seperating Headers

Steve or anyone out there -

Take a look at this board: http://www.disboards.com/

Can you explain to me in a nutshell how you would seperate the forums with headers such as they did in this site with Trip Planning Forums Header, Dis uk header, disney cruise line header etc.
