moving reputation to profile?
 

I would like to alter the reputation system so users can simply rate each other as a whole through their profiles instead of each post.

Could I simply move the give reputation icon to the profile and then remove references in the code that tie it to posts? If so, does anyone know what I'd need to remove or alter to make this work?

It's designed to be linked to posts, I don't really think you could prevent that without much rewriting or breaking it.
