Needing a "fake store" mod.

Hi,

I'm trying to find a mod which would allow us, moderators or admins, to give points or money to other users. Those user would accumulate point and they apply them to get some stuff we offer.

Is there a mod for that ? I know there is one for phpbb and IPB, but I haven't see one for VBulletin.

Everything could be manual, we only need a way to enter, store and show the points/money they earned.

Thanks for your help.

vbplaza is what you are looking for... do a quick search and you'll find it.

Thanks for your reply. I installed it and tested it. It's a bit "too much" for our needs.

Also, it's very oriented on privilege and fun stuff (stuff you can add to the forum, lottery, thief etc..)

What we need is a more basic script which would:

- Allow us, admin, to give points to certain users
- User can go to the store and apply their point on items*
- We receive an email, PM or confirmation of the "buying" items

* Items are physical items, not addon or stuff for Vb. We also need something that is a bit more stable where users can't trade their points or loose them if a member want to steal another (like in VbPlaza) We need something more "basic" :p

Any suggestion ?

There was a mod for 3.5, dont think it was ported for 3.6, that dealt more with real world items.

I have a basic points script for 3.5 (soon to be 3.6) that you can use. You can create a forum where users make a post to "purchase" an item. Since you need to deliver it, they can ship it out and post back a confirmation in the thread. Probably the simplest way to get started for the moment while you explore your options.

Thanks for reply.

Finally I installed ICash. very basic and manual, but it work and don't overload the server for options I won't use.

You idea of ordering thread is good too. Thanks
