vb.org Archive - Cookies / Login...

I previously ran vb 3.0 with the cookie only option because I was using the cookies with the rest of my website and my custom login and registration system. I just upgraded to vb 3.6.2 and can't get it to work with my existing custom cookie based login system. I am pretty sure the reason it's not working is that the new version of vbulletin us using the sessionhash in conjunction with or instead of the cookies.

How do I switch to cookies only? I can't find the option anywhere.

What is the advantage of the sessionhash option? Is it better? Should I try to integrate it with my custom login system instead of the cookies?
