Real Names and Catagory Unique Colours

We are currently updating a vBulletin 3.6.2 forum, and wanted to know if there was any way to do the following by either standard install means or through modifications...

1) Is it possible to have a profile option that allows people to use a display name rather than a username to appear in postings? Example:

Instead of username: glide, a real name of James would appear in posts etc

2) Is it possible to have different css colour backgrounds or images for different category headers? For example:

Xbox 360 category colour background green, PS3 blue, Nintendo Silver etc etc?
