How to switch default template?
 

I am very very new to vbulletin, and finally got a different style installed and fully working on my vbulletin, though it is on my forum, I have to switch to the style manually, because the default vbulletin style is still there.

My question is, how can I keep my default vbulletin style, yet have my new style come up first everytime i just go to my forums?

Go in your ACP -->> Vbulletin Options -->> Styles and Languages and set the default to the style you want.

make sure you have your skin uploaded through your FTP to your /forums/ (or whichever path you use)
