Advice for a Hack
 

Though most people might not be interested in the hack, I am planning on opening some new forums for my own programming benefit and want some advice on the hack I am designing.

It is something I'm redesigning that I had like 2 years back on my vB2 forum, and then remade again not tied into vB. Basically, it is a Record Label sim, where you have a record label, sign a band, can practice skills, write songs, record albums, tour, and whatnot. Very similar to The Rockstar Game. In either case, I was wondering what I should do about upgrading one's studio. As it stands now, you can purchase a studio level upgrade (from levels 1 to 5) for a large sum of cash that will make your recordings sound better, thus making more money. My other idea was to perhaps have it so that each time you toured your band or practiced them or wrote songs, etc. that you would gain a certain amount of experience and could eventually level up your studio that way.

Any suggestions on which way or some other ideas regarding?
