effects
got the plaza installed an dcome accross this issue.
username effects do not work in firefox. reading this https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthrea...highlight=glow so i installed ie to check and they work. Can we get this fixed? it won;t be W3C compliant untill it is. and most of use prefer Complaince. Makes sure that everyone can view our sites. |
Nope, username effects dont work in Firefox because their IE only features, period.
Fixing it requires making mozilla comply to IE's standards and using IE's filters. |

this is absolutely wrong and ludicris. if coders for IPB and phpBB can do it then you guys can to. Saying it CANT be done is well Lying. |
So your telling me that the coders for phpbb and ibp have added code into Firefox to make IE specific features work?
|
Since this topic is somewhat sorta what I'm looking for how do usernames look like this....eyes to the pic....
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/ That pic was screen capped on Firefox Browser.... |
Thats just colored texts and backgrounds, and divs, not glow.

you are dense. These features are NOT IE only. If they were. they wouldnt be viewable in Firefox. also if they were then.. wow.... the hacks for phpBB especially wouldnt be viewable with FF... except.... thats all I use... Snap... I MUST see glowing thingies which appear out of thin air yes? saying otherwise is just plain lazyness |
Please link me to a board.
I've never in 6 years of working with Bulletin board software seen glow effects in firefox/mozilla/netscape |
wow you are really rude.
glow does not work in FF it is strictly an IE html code. The effects that you have seen was more likely different colors, bold or highlight(div background color) but not glow or another IE specific code. if you dont like it then dont use. I dont recall you paying for this mod. Please learn some respect and be nicer. PS. show us a screenshot of what you are talking about and we will tell you how it is ;-) Quote:

I actually just noticed that the glow doesn't work in Firefox. Only in IE.
Kind of ridiculous seeing how Firefox is one of the most popular browsers around. |
