Affiliate buttons in drop down menu

I happened on a website not too long ago (sorry dont have the link, wish I did) that used the drop down menu to display the affiliate link buttons(graphics). Does anyone know where I can find the code to do such a thing or perhaps know how to add them. Thankyou in advance ~D
