Skin maker
 

Not knowing what to search for, I ask here. Is there a mod that lets the users make their own skins? Atleast change the color of the forum, and maybe add their own header. Much like Live Journal. And if not, would someone want to make one. ;)

Would be a cool edition, as I want people to use the forum, and not feel like it's actually a forum like one normaly has. If not the entire forum, maybe only the profile page, as I have changed the layout of that much allready.

I don't think there is an automated type mod if that's what you have in mind. However, it's fairly easy to use the style manager to change colors and borders, font size, etc. I would suggest experimenting with that at first to get used to how it works and familiarize yourself with the template system. You can create a new style just to play around with. Hope this helps :)

I ment for users of the forum, not admins. ;) My visitors keep nagging on me to make more skins, and I got the idea to let them make it themselves. The mod would have to save per. user account. So if user X makes a skin, only user X will see it and be able to use it. Ofcourse letting the admin chose a skin to be "featured" as a usable skin by everyone would also be cool. :)

So you want each user to have a custom skin. Hmm dunno.

Let the user be able to create his or her own skin yes, but only by changing the colors and the header image.
