Staff Forum only

Is it possible to have a hack that only shows a forum to a certain usergroup? Say I want a moderator forum, only viewable to moderators. Does a hack exist or is it possible to do without?

you can do this quite simply by setting the usergroup permissions for that forum to deny all access from all groups that you do not wish to have access to it.
