Latest shoutbox mod?

I cant find it anywhere. What is the latest vb shout mod? Cna someone link me? Is it still 2.0?

hotwheels 09-23-2006 06:16 PM

It is currently 2.0 here and 2.1 over at vbhackers.com.....each one does have issue's though that need to be worked on.
I moved up to 2.1 and found it really does have alot of issues, so i have reuploaded the 2.0, which at this point works about 80% of the time.

What issues do you have with 2.1 I do not have any whatsoever?

HPIA 09-23-2006 07:02 PM

well can you link me to whichever one please?

BTW, I run 3.6.1

bashy 09-23-2006 07:14 PM

I dont really want to link to another forum, dont know if its allowed.

Just do a search here for vbshout and you will find it m8

HPIA;
hotwheels already gave you the url where you can find the hack. Look in his above post.

EDIT: I Have the 2.1 version. Much, much better than 2.0. Much faster and since the switch my server load dropped to about 1/5 of what it was. There are some small issues, but nothing major.

Most things have been fixed in 2.1 the only issues are one's the can't be recreated and just seem to happen randomly and different boards. I would go with 2.1 @ vbhackers.com

HPIA 09-23-2006 08:30 PM

Well, I took your advice and got the 2.1

But as you can see, it doesn't work right: http://www.hpinaction.com

It is probably something I did,. but can someone take a look and see if they can tell what is wrong? The shouts show up in the archive but not in the shoutbox main box.

rogersnm 09-24-2006 06:51 AM

shoutbox looks fine to me. The problem with the archive is this:
Quote:

vbshout.php??do=archive
Do you see anything wrong with that? How about this:
Quote:

vbshout.php?do=archive
Does that look different?

Now try going to: http://www.hpinaction.com/vbshout.php??do=archive and try going to: http://www.hpinaction.com/vbshout.php?do=archive

HPIA 09-24-2006 05:09 PM

Fixed! :D

Thanks so much!

Now one more important question. I have asked it before, but I am always given answers that never really answer my question...or nothing at all.

I want to move the shoutbox into a forum, the let loose forum. How would I do that?
