Adding Items to "Whos Online?"

Hey, I would like to know how I would go about coding the "Whos Online" feature for more items to be viewed on it...

I know the flashchat displays on the whos online, but I want to put other things on there like, viewing site homepage, viewing application section of site or stuff like that :)

Some1 let me know plz :)
