Do you recommend vbSEO?
 

Newbie here with a growing board and anxious to maximize its presence. I'm geek challenged (so hire out any plug-ins or installs) but am wondering if this one is worth looking into?

Please advise. I need to know as a board administrator with limited tech skills if it's something I can use efficiently once I have someone do the install.

The installation is very easy. Most users can complete it in about 5 minutes. I can tell you that the default settings will probably suffice. However, even if you pay for someone to help you with the configuration, it will not require changes once set. The new linkback features include moderation if enabled, but that is handled from within the vBulletin AdminCP, so you will most likely master that very quickly and not need help.

It depends on what you want. I bought two lincenses for two different sites (one is not open yet) and convinced a friend who owns a very large forum to give it a try. Why? I needed the url rewriting for various reasons, mainly because I wanted friendly-looking URLs. The support has been incredible, that in itself convinced me to buy the second license.

I have seen a huge increase in income from adsense, but I am not sure how much vBSEO is to be credited for it. I am sure it is at least one reason of the recent growth.

Sounds like you purchased it and installed it.. Can you provide some feedback to prior and after resalts?

its a shame it doesnt offer a brand free license :S vbseo seems to be a good product tho.
