Video Downloader (Youtube, Google, iFilm etc)
 

This should be a nifty mod if possible considering that video sites are so hot these days. I'm hoping to have a mod that gives a dropdown from the navbar, for users to enter the youtube url, then they'll be given a download link.

Very useful for a community

i am adding conditions for websites now , some sites i havent figured how to get files yet but most sounds easy so far.. metacafe, youtube, ifilm , almost all listed on the link u posted..

note: it will not return results without http:// prefixed in ur posted link ,
i have set a fopen condition to halt if not found to avoid errors.
