Various Blocks on one page

Is there something available that would make creating a page like this possible?

I would like to replacee the New Posts button with a Today button showing all the various pieces of information on that page (see URL above) available on one page.

I suppose you could do it with vBAdvanced if the necessary modules and templates were written.
