Hide unmoderated users

I was wondering if there was any way to make it so unmoderated users do not show up on the "Newest Member(s)" registered until they are accepted? I looked through here, and didn't find anything regarding this, so if there is already a hack like this, could someone kindly point me in the direction? Thanks.
