Quick Question

Hello,

I want to refresh the index.php page once a user logs in. For example, if a user visits my forum website, and logs into it using the login box in the top right corner. It will display the "You are being logged in now" message, then when the index.php page loads (logged in) I want it to refresh. But, I only want it to refresh on initial login, no other time. Is that possible?
