Export and Import of database
My site is currently running 3.5 and I am looking to upgrade to 3.6. The problem is that when we upgraded from 3.0 to 3.5, we had some major difficulty with the migration process, mostly due to the significant modification we had done to the actual forum software. I havn't modified 3.5 that much.
Anyway, is there a way to export the database, perhaps even chose what to export and then import it directly to a 3.6 clean install? I know about ways of doing it trough the SQLadmin panel, but it's just fidgy at best. And I would really like to keep all posts, users, attachments, usertitles, language modifications, skins etc. So, any bright ideas? |
