Cleanin' up the admincp

I have a couple of mods I added and removed from inferno and unfortunately it left all of the menus in my adminCP. I have gone and deleted any applicable xml files from /includes/xml.... what else do I need to do in order to get rid of these stinkin' menus?

if you have deleted all the applicable files from the /includes/xml/ directory (cpnav_ and sometimes also bitfield_ and even hooks_ ) then a refresh of your browser window should remove the defunct items.

OK - as you were typing I found a rouge xml entry ;)

Thanks Peter!

Thanks Peter!

I'm sorry I can't resist this.....

My admin panel isn't red, it's blue. :D

lol Mark :p

Glad you got it sorted Laura :)

Oh, and mine's silver ;)

Mark.B 09-02-2006 10:50 PM

I use silver on my test board, so I don't get confused and wipe out a really important template on the live site. Not that THAT's ever happened of course.

peterska2 09-02-2006 10:53 PM

Silver for live board one, blue for live board two, some odd greenish color on my 3.6.0 dev, and some odd purpley color on my 3.5.4 dev, then the rest after that are pretty obvious, although I still get 2.3.10 and 3.6.0 mixed up for some reason lol

Think you misquoted that....it wasn't me thought KA was called Peter, it was Kofoid.
