Share User DataBase

Hello,

I need to build custom code to handle My user Database instead of the Vbulletin user database. I don't want to ask user to register twice in our system.

Someone can give me some advise on this work ? i want that the user database stay in our own database (that is not MySql) instead of the vbulletin database
