Name of this mod?
 
I have been looking everywhere for the mod that will allow me to place selected threads that I find of importance on the vBA homepage...

look at ww.theamericanright.com for an example...

It is the center one...

THe admin there takes certain threads that he likes and places them in that center frame...

Also, is this similar to an announcements mod? If not, where can I get that one?

Sorry to be so general and ignorant sounding, I am new to the vB world.

This is vBadvanced CMPS ;)

The news module of it is displaying all threads from certain forums (you can select them) like this.
