Force post icon selection by member?
 

Is it possible to force users to select a post icon, with no "no icon" option available? For example, if the user made a post and did not select a post icon they would be taken back to the new thread post page and told -- you need to select a post icon.

I did some research in Google and testing on my own forum and can't find an answer or figure this out.

Would this be possible through a custom written plug-in if not through any other means?

There is an option in the ACP that forces users to use one Post Icon. If they don't select any post Icon they would be forced to use that one Icon.

login to your ACP vBulletin Options >> Thread Display Options (showthread) and scroll down to Show Default Post Icon and insert the path to the Icon you want to show. :)

Haven't seen a hack that forces users to choose, then again, I don't browse the hack areas.

Thanks Shelly, the person I am researching this for wants to for a non-default choice. I suspect it would need a custom hack/plug-in.
