How to I force a login
 

Hiya,

At the moment people can scan the messages as a Guest on my forum but I want to restrict even that. I want to force registration before they even read a message. How do I do that?

Admincp/forums & moderators/forum permissions

then go down each forum and edit for the usergroups you dont want to have access-

* [Edit] (COPPA) Users Awaiting Moderation
* [Edit] Administrators
* [Edit] Banned Users
* [Edit] Basic User
* [Edit] Gold Renewals
* [Edit] Gold User
* [Edit] Moderators
* [Edit] Registered Users
* [Edit] Silver User
* [Edit] Super Moderators
* [Edit] Under 17's
* [Edit] Unregistered / Not Logged In
* [Edit] Users Awaiting Email Confirmation

for me the ones above shown in here in a different colour.
