modifying templates to make things not appear based on recent posts...
 
Is there a way to have things not appear if the person has not had X amount of posts in the last X amount of days? I've tried to figure out a conditional statement for this but have been unsuccessful.

Not quite. They said to do that it will require some modifying they can't support and to ask here.
