MySpace issues

I just joined no less that 2 weeks ago and my account is already under review. I have posted no nudity, no violence and no objectionable content. My wife's account is fine and you can still see me in her friends list so I don't think it's been deleted. There has been numerous actually hundreds if not thousands of profiles deleted for free speech issues and for posting videos that are hosted by YouTube which happens to be a major rival to MySpace.

I'm not a free speech freak and have nothing of the sort on my profile but I do have like 4 youtube vids. Now I can't even log in and it's been like 12 days that I've had a myspace account. I get any one of these messages when I attempt to log in:

DisabledErrorMessage 8/24/2006

This profile is undergoing routine maintenance. We apologize for the inconvenience!

I didn't want to start a new MySpace related thread but I just wanted to know if anyone has ever encountered this problem or any of these messages?

uhh, thats not from under going review. Myspace servers suck, Youtube is in no way a major rival to MySpace two totally different medians there, and the part about deleting hundreds if not thousands of profiles deleted for free speech issues...umm all i can really say to that is prove it, rather then making outlandish claims

Simply try again later, you'll soon realize that Myspace is pretty much useless during most hours of the day.

Myspace was bought a while ago by Rupert Murdoch owner of News Corporation, Sky, Fox, and soon IGN.com and also lots of other major corporations. I would think myspace was bought for commercial reasons and as such any content that is slightly suspect will be removed.....It is not there for social networking but for advertising and control of minds....

Vbulletin will be next for buy out by Murdoch if they find this thread lol....after all he owns the simpsons and Mr Burns is really based on him...

Who cares if they did or not? Its THEIR site. Private property. They can do whatever they want to your account that doesn't actually harm your repuation. Removing profiles is compeltely under their right.

yea im not arguing if they did or didnt, and i could honestly care less if they do/did. But its one thing to do it, and another for people to run all over the place claiming it.

Its sorta like those bulletins, you know the ones where if you dont repost, the 10 year old girl with cancer is going to die...

I'm not here to make outlandish claims although I do respect your opinion and appreciate your reply. I'm back on now and you're right, day time is the worst for browsing on myspace. I'm a pretty knowledgable person and I do plenty of research about things that not many people care about but here are just a couple of articles you can read on the subject: article 1 article 2

Thanks

Unless I'm missing something, he doesn't have a signature?
