questions on control panels
 
The control panels I need extensions for are those that are similar to cPanel.
cPanel's extension is ":2082" (example.com:2082). What are the other popular control panels extensions?

How similiar are you looking for them to be in comparison to CPanel? Plesk, DirectAdmin, Webmin, Virtuozzo and many others are quite a bit different in many ways. I can't honestly compare any of them to another in how the function or are viewed.

CPanel seems to rein supreme simply because it allows you to 90% of the work from WHM with little to no root intervention (unless you are installing specific software). DirectAdmin, however is rising more and more and quite a few people are moving from CPanel to DA, not only because it is cheaper, but support and features are matching and exceeding CPanel.

You mean the port. Why do you need the default port of all control panels?

It's for an add-on that I've created. I would like to give the administrator an option to choose which control panel they use.
