Filter events on FORUMHOME by usergroup
 

I would like to be able to define a set of user groups for different geographical regions and have the forum home page show upcoming events to registered users only if the events match their group/region.

I'm thinking it could be done either with conditionals limiting the inclusion of calendars/events based upon group membership or perhaps using a single calendar if events had a custom property.

Is there any existing mod which does something like this? If not, does this sound like something easy which someone might be willing to help me with?
