For user to create object-based documents
This is what I would like my users to do.
1. Create document but not file-based documents like word or powerpoint. 2. The document will be build from objects like heading 1 heading 2 text picture note warning etc.. 3. The user select an object to instantiate (eg a Heading 1) and than gives it a value (text or a picture). 4. The style is stored seperate from the informations so that it easily can be changed. 5. The information should stored in a databas. Does this exist for vBulletin today? Common areas for this technique I guess could be writing aricles, manual etc. Doesn't it sound to good for not to be created if not yet so? :) I am not sure what this way of creating/Storing documents is called so maybe I missed it willing searching for it here. Anyone knows what to call it? |
