Black and Gold 3.6
As promised, I have ported over my popular Black and Gold style yet again from vB 3.5 to vB 3.6, and I have also made some minor changes to it. The biggest changes were the addition of a totally new button set and totally new IM icons.
As always, please let me know of any issues with the style - I tested it pretty thoroughly prior to releasing it, and I wasn't able to find anything out of place. However, I have missed things before, so please don't hesitate to inform me of it.. It is great .... good job

Hmm...actually, is there a way to get the posts back to left-aligned? I don't think my users are going to appreciate the centering there.

Thanks for the update. Is it imperative to reinstall the full skin, or can we get by with updating the graphics that are missing from the update? I customized the colors a bit and have some custom additions in the posbits of my themes and I don't want to have to redo them yet again (after fixing them when I upgraded from 3.5.4 to 3.6.0).
What exactly has changed from the 3.5.4 version? |
Very nice!

Beautiful as always. I think I liked the postbit black as on the older theme, but that's an easy fix.
Also, as I had to redo this modification myself, I figured I'd post how to do it here: This little template mod changes the postbit legacy to show the rep points for the user on their posts. Open the Postbit legacy for the black and gold style. Find: <if condition="$show['reputation']"> Add immediately after: <div class="pbitspacer"><div class="pbit" align="left"> Rep: $post[reputation]</div></div> Save and you're done! This will add a new box that says "Rep: ###". Just a little help for the lazy ones (like me) who would rather copy/paste than dive into the tangle of templates :D |
